Like our parent group, the Goon Show Preservation Society, we were much saddened by the death of Spike Milligan. After losing Harry and Michael in the past few years it would seem to be the end of an era. But we will not let it be that - let's celebrate the legacy they left behind for us and enjoy the timeless, nay, matchless, laughter making genius that the Goons gave to the World...

So, to start; I thought I would like to share some private photo's with all of you out there in goon-land. These were taken by me at a special day out on the Romney Hythe & Dymchurch steam railway in Kent. Harry was there filming an episode of "Highway" for TVS Television and three of us were invited to attend. We were to be "members of the public" if needed in any of the scenes.

It was a memorable occasion and a historical one; it was the first time the three surviving Goons had been together in 14 years… I spoke happily all morning to all three of them and each in turn offered their autographs and told little anecdotes 'off-camera' in-between filming. I shall never forget it.
